Not when you use Amwill Inc. We import under our own IEC, meaning you can legally bring goods into India without applying for your own licence. This is ideal for companies testing the Indian market, one-time imports, or businesses that want to avoid the administrative overhead of maintaining an IEC.

Standard customs clearance in India takes 3–7 working days for air freight and 7–14 days for sea freight, depending on the product category, port of entry, and documentation quality. For EV/battery components and electronics, additional compliance checks may apply. Amwill prepares all documentation upfront to minimise delays.
